As per news published in The Times of India on 28/10/2017, The Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) has issued a list of 10 (ten)Identity documents that can be used as proof of Identity at the Airport.Minors accompanied by a guardian with valid ID would not need separate proof for domestic travel.Unaccompanied minors would.
The list goes like this.
1.Passport
2.Voter ID
3.Aadhar or m-Aadhar
4.Pan Card
5.Service ID issued by State or Central Government,PSUs,local bodies or public limited companies.
6.Student ID Card issued by government or government recognised educational institutions.
7.Passbook of account in a nationalised bank with attested photo.
8.Pension Card or documents with photo
9.Driving Licence.
10.Disability ID card or handicapped medical certificate issued by State/UT administration.
