Miss World  event was started  on 29 July 1951 by Eric Morley in United Kingdom.The motto of this event is beauty with a purpose.

Miss World 2017 held at on 18 November 2017 at the Sanya City Arena in Sanya ,China.

Miss Manushi  Chhillar of  India  was crowned as Miss World on 20 November 2017.This sixth time when India got this title.
