MULTIPLY TWO DIGIT NUMBER BY 11

  1. Take a two digit number, separate the two digits and write with
  2. the gap between them.
  3. Add the separated  two digits together and write in the gap.

Examples: (1) 63 x 11 = 693.

                     (2) 48 x 11 = 4 _ 8, but 4 + 8 = 12,

so put 2 in the gap and add the 1 to the 4 to get 528
